During the Konin era there was a wolf demon who was blamed for killing a countless amount of people. In this the 6 heavenly spirits decided to seal this demon in a statue. For 1175 years the demon has been sealed in the statue, but when the 6 dark spirits start to release evil demons on the city, the 6 heavenly spirits releases the wolf demon in hopes that it will stop the 6 dark spirits in return. When the wolf demon agrees to this the 6 heavenly spirits entrusted a young priestess at the shrine (where the wolf demon was sealed) to watch over the wolf demon. With this the 6 heavenly spirits gives the priestess and the wolf demon a beaded bracelet that helps the priestess to watch over the demon and a mirror that lets them go to the spirit world.
